CHERYL HEBEL, CFO AT BERGHAMMER CONSTRUCTION, WINS BUSINESS JOURNAL'S CFO OF THE YEAR AWARD

September 17, 2010, Butler, WI - Berghammer Construction Corporation is pleased to announce that the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Hebel, was selected by the Business Journal as one of this year’s CFO of the Year award winners.

Cheryl joined the firm in 1988 as a bookkeeper when the firm had revenues of about $3 million and grew with the firm to become the controller of a $70 million construction organization. In 1995, Cheryl received her BA in Financial Management from Alverno College and was promoted to VP of Finance and Accounting.

Cheryl not only manages the cash and company finances, but works side-by-side with the CEO of the company and Project Managers on project costing, contract negotiations and contract terms and conditions. She also manages a full accounting team and has a wide range of HR duties. Her years of loyalty and support are only a small part of why she deserves this great honor.
