BERGHAMMER HOSTS 3rd ANNUAL GOLDEN HAMMER AWARDS

October 15, 2009, Butler, WI – On Wednesday, October 7, 2009, approximately 150 contractors attended the third annual Golden Hammer Awards ceremony at Berghammer Construction’s Butler headquarters.

Each year, the Golden Hammer Awards recognize southeast Wisconsin subcontractors for their exceptional work and excellence in performance, quality and responsiveness on Berghammer projects.

This year, there were 20 contractors nominated for the award by Berghammer personnel based on overall project performance for 2008. The three winners, and recipients of Golden Hammer trophies, included: Joe Zoulek of Mid City Plumbing and Heating in Butler, Mike Chmielewski and Norm Niemiec of State Painting Company in West Allis and John Loberg of Henry Marohl, Inc. in Wauwatosa.
