CHRIS ROZOF NAMED ESTIMATOR OF THE YEAR
October 15, 2008, Butler, WI – The Daily Reporter and Wisconsin Builder have named the 2008 Newsmakers of the Year. Chris Rozof, LEED AP, Director of Estimating at Berghammer Construction Corporation, was named Estimator of the year. Chris will be honored at an award reception of October 27, 2008 at the Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha.
Seven years ago, Chris identified the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) process as more than just a trend, and he became the first member of the Berghammer team to secure his status as a LEED Accredited Professional. Chris has played a significant role in assisting other members at Berghammer in their efforts to become LEED Accredited Professionals.
Chris is a recognized regional expert on LEED principles, having written articles for periodicals such as Wisconsin Builder and presented on the topic of LEED to AIA and other professional groups. Chris has committed himself to sustainable construction, and he is determined to educate and train others about green methods and techniques
