Berghammer Construction is committed to protecting the health and safety of all employees, subcontractors and visitors to our job sites.
To that end, we:
- Have formulated a clear written policy to govern all operations of our company and stringently enforce that policy in all our operations.
- Hire an independent, third party organization to regularly perform safety audits of all jobsites.
- Require, as a condition of employment, that all employees adhere to stated safety rules, instructions and procedures. These same guidelines are applied to all Berghammer subcontractors and jobsite visitors.
- Stringently enforce all federal, state and local safety laws.
- The majority of our field crews are trained on the sensitive control issues associated with working in health care facilities.
- Maintain a partnership with OSHA.
- Require all field employees to partake in annual training courses.
- Are members of the Associated General Contractors Forum and Safety Council

The Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Construction Industry Safety Council (MCISC) recognized Berghammer Construction Corporation for demonstrating safety on its jobsites.
The Safety Council is a group of construction professionals who are responsible for the safety of their company’s employees.
These leaders meet quarterly to discuss topics of concern among companies that perform the majority of the commercial construction that occurs each year in the Metro Milwaukee area.
